JOSH CARY (Gray) has a professional career that spans more than ten years. His first two years in New York were dedicated to musical theater, where he landed his first professional acting job with Surflight Theater, and in the following year was cast as the title character in the touring production of ‘Tom Sawyer.’ From there, he turned his focus to comedy. Over the next several years, Josh created, directed and performed work to convey his own comedy style, ranging from an off-Broadway show, a Los Angeles premiere, a college tour, and short films that have played on the film festival circuit and have been seen on Comedy Central’s website. More recently, he was seen in the New York production of ‘Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding.’ He is a member of the New York Friars Club, and was sponsored in by the Club’s dean, Freddie Roman. Back Stage has praised his “offbeat sense of humor,” and the Los Angeles Times has referred to Josh as “an intellectual clown.” Josh has completed his next screenplay, “Super Ken,” which was selected as a semi-finalist in both this year’s VisionFest and the Anything But Hollywood screenwriting competitions. “Super Ken” also made it to the quarter-finals in the most recent Filmmakers International Screenwriting Awards.
