Colin Bressler

Colin Bressler COLIN BRESSLER (Cinematographer) is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York, where he received the award for best achievement in cinematography in 1998. Colin began his professional career working as a first assistant camera on features, and quickly moved to shooting a large variety of projects, from short films to music videos. He was soon nominated for the American Society of Cinematography award for best newcomer to the industry. He then traveled to India to shoot the documentary feature Take Me to the River, and to Japan to shoot the documentary feature Kokuyaku. This documentary experience led Bressler to a wide range of projects for television, including the series Martha Stewart Living and While You Were Out. In 2004, he shot his first HD feature, The Amazing Floydini, which has won a number of Best Picture awards on the film festival circuit, and has garnered Colin a reputation as a talented HD Cinematographer. He brought all of this experience to bear in filming You Tell Me, which was shot in 24p HD with the Sony CineAlta Camera system.
