CHARLES NEWMAN (Composer) has composed the scores to the acclaimed feature films Sweet Nothing and Glissando, and to the MTV series The Osbournes and The Newlyweds. His music has been featured on the soundtracks of the films Empire Records and Big Brother Trouble. A graduate of Boston’s Berklee College of Music and a member of the bands Flare and Please, Charles is also an acclaimed producer who has worked with such artists as The Magnetic Fields and Erykah Badu. Charles produced many of the recordings on the You Tell Me soundtrack, including the work of Kelly Snyder, M-16, Industrial Tepee, Sam Barron, Ceramic, and the Davenports. Charles runs the independent record label Mother West.
